Wyler Genève has recently launched its new timekeeping masterpiece – the TourbillonWT3. It is the first watch to be made that satisfies strict quality criteria of the Poinçon du Jura (Geneva Seal) label. To deserve this label, the movement of the watch must be made in Switzerland. At least 90% of the movement components must be made in the Jura, called the real heart of Swiss watch making. In addition, the movement must be produced by an independent company.

The plates and bridges of the Wyler TourbillonWT3 movement are made from a block of raw material. Thanks to this method of production, the quality of the movement is much higher and numerous variations on the same caliber can be made. The manually-wound movement has a 72-hour power reserve, beating at 21600 vibrations per hour.

The timepiece is also famous for the proprietary material used for the decoration of flat surfaces. The development of the material took two years. The method of production is very sophisticated – to turn an irregular and solid silicium sheet into some components within tolerances of 1/100th of a millimeter, 11 operations and treatments are required, including layer-by-layer deposition and coloration.

Wyler Tourbillon WT3 watch’s case is fitted with four titanium screws, measuring 42mm in diameter. The patented shock-absorbing case of the watch is made either from 18K white gold or matt black ceramic. The carbon fiber middle of the case is adorned with two sapphire crystals. The inner movement case is produced from titanium.

The timepiece is water resistant to 100 meters. The crown, available either in 18K white gold or titanium, is rubber-coated. The crown protector is coated with DLC-coated steel or 18K white gold, depending on the watch model.

The dial of the timepiece is protected by a scratch-resistant anti-reflective sapphire crystal. The sapphire crystal window on the case-back makes visible some parts of the movement.

The TourbillonWT3 watches come with a rubber strap featuring an engraved buckle in white gold for the golden version of the watch and PVD-coated steel for the black ceramic one.

The cost of the TourbillonWT3 watch model in 18K white gold reaches $115,500. The TourbillonWT3 in black ceramic costs a little less - $110,000. Along with hours, minutes and seconds, the chronograph provides a date function at the 3 o’clock position.

The silvery opaline dial of the Patek Philippe Calatrava Officier watch has a hand-applied guilloche sunburst pattern at the center and gold applique hour markers. The Patek Philippe Geneve signature is visible on a small gold cartouche. The watch features a matt chocolate brown alligator strap with large square scales.
